Here are my answers for the feedback questionnaire.
We found GCR Furniture Removals via a Google search for Sydney to
Brisbane removalist companies. GCR wasn't the cheapest (but not by much)
but we thought it could be a "you get what you pay for" scenario so we
went with a slightly higher quote to be safe.
I believe I dealt with you Scott and you were extremely helpful in sorting everything out, especially because we had a difficult move in terms of parking at our new place in Brisbane and two pickup addresses in Sydney. You talked me through it all and the best way to go about things, and in the end securing the parks out the front of our new building was a breeze as I was fully prepared. The guys (Sydney furniture removalists) were very helpful and kept in contact the day before they arrived in Sydney to let us know when they would arrive at our door. They were super quick and extremely appreciative of me helping them move stuff as they said clients rarely help them. There was some rain during the move and they didn't complain at all. Everything they brought up they asked where I wanted it and if I wasn't there they placed it somewhere in the room that corresponded with the name on the box.
The guys on the pickup truck in Sydney called the day of the pickup as
well to give me a rough time on when they would arrive and it was
reassuring to have their mobile number. Everything went smoothly, from
the initial quote to booking, to the arrival of our removals from Sydney
to Brisbane. Nothing was damaged and all goods were handled with the
utmost care. The removalists even pulled apart some flat pack furniture
that they said wouldn't travel well and kept all parts together and
nothing was lost/damaged. All in all a very positive experience and GCR
Removals made the experience a lot less stressful than anticipated.
